Completed Projects
Ms.Afifah Salmi bt Abdul Salam [29/6/2015-11/9/2015]
Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT)
Intership Project: Development of an RFID-based Child Monitoring System using Arduino Leonardo
Ms. Nor Yuhanis Binti Ariffin
Ms. Yuhanis received her Bachelor Degree of Electronic Engineering from University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) in September 2015.
From 1 July 2005-30 September 2015, she worked as a Research Officer (RO) under a research grant (entitiled "Modelling of an Efficient DNA/Protein Sequencer using Hardware Description Language (HDL) for Biomedical Applications) lead by Dr. Nazrin. She had responsible for designing and developing HDL-based multiport memory access for signal processing applications. The newly developed memory core was successfully tested on the Altera Cyclone FPGA for further development/research stage.

Ku Noor Dhaniah Binti Ku Muhsen
Research Titile: Design and Analysis of Efficient Repository System for Protein Coefficients in Systolic Array-based Architecture.
Mrs. Dhaniah is currently a Master student at UniMAP, taking MSc in Microelectronic System & Design Engineering mixed mode programme. She received her Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Microelectronic Engineering at UKM, Bangi in 2010. She been working with Huawei Technologies (M), KL as Engineer OSP/ISP for 2 years (2010-2012) and involved with Maxis NGBB project and TelBru, Brunei project. These projects were an end-to-end project which focused on how to implement FTTH from the MDF to the user.
Research Title : Design and Analysis of a Systolic Array-based architecture for DNA Sequence Alignment
Mr Goh is a postgraduate student (Msc in Microelectronic System Design Engineering) in the School of Microelectronic Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). Currently he is doing research on a systolic array-based architecture for DNA sequence alignment. In 2008, he graduated from Universiti Malaysia Perlis with Electronic Engineering. He has few years working experiences in Intel. In Intel, he mainly worked as an on-chip tester, monitor the performance of products such as maintain or improve production yield, re-test rate, recovery test. Besides, he also gained experience on test program design and debugging processes.
