Project Title:

Modelling of an Efficient DNA/Protein Sequencer using Hardware Description Language (HDL) for Biomedical Applications

Project Duration (extendable): Initial duration: 6 Months (Jan - June 2015).

Funding Scheme: Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS)

Location: School of Microelectronic Engineering, Pauh Putra, UniMAP, Perlis.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out MATLAB simulation and HDL modelling for DNA/Protein sequence alignment, targeting for specific disease detection.

Benefits (not limited to):

• Monthly salary (RM50/day)

Requirements:

• Malaysian Citizen

• Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Microelectronics (CGPA of 3.0 and above)

• Background knowledge and interest in HDL programming, MATLAB, C or C++

• Independent, self-motivated, keen to learn, creative, good communication skills, English language proficiency and able to work under pressure.
